Piano recital in Montmartre - European launch of the double album Pierné

I will present a recital in Montmartre, Paris on the occasion of the European launch of my double album Gabriel Pierné, Feuillet d'album which was released last year in Quebec.

Very recently, I signed a distribution contract with the label-distributor Continuo Classics. This partnership will allow my album to be distributed throughout Europe and even in Japan! You can therefore find it at FNAC, on Amazon (France), as well as any other retailer of physical CDs.

This project is the culmination of ten years of work and research on Gabriel Pierné (1863-1937) and is the subject of a doctoral thesis at the CSNDMP and Sorbonne University on "The relationship to the piano". by the composer Messin.

I will play early works (Fifteen pieces, Op.3) and mid-term works by the composer (Bagatelle, op. 33, Preludio e fughetta, Op. 40, nº 1). Finally, I will perform the Variations in C minor, Op. 42 composed at the twilight of the First World War and which, according to Alfred Cortot, are considered among the greatest French piano masterpieces of the 20th century.
